Here’s an update on the current staffing situation:
Lisa is going to be taking the 40-hour, 40-week Circulation Assistant opening when she finishes school in November. Until then, she’ll be working around 30 hours a week to help us when we’re short staffed.
Heather has been promoted to Cataloging Assistant and will start that position when her replacement starts.
The first of the two 20-hour positions vacated by Lisa and Heather has been filled by David Aponte, a current SLIS student who received his BFA in film from the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
The second 20-hour position has been filled by Daina Dickman, also a SLIS student, with a background in Theater and Performing Arts from UC Berkeley.
David is scheduled to start on Wednesday, October 25th and Daina will be starting on Tuesday, November 7th.
