Collection changes!

Wednesday, August 29th, 2012

Hi Circ Workers (and other interested parties),

As you’ve no doubt noticed, Hope made a lot of changes to the library while you were gone! In order to make it so that all of the collections that circulate are on the same side of library, she moved the following collections over to the left side of the library: Auction Catalogs, Circulating National Geographics, Art Education, Faculty Development, ESL Circulating, and New Books. The Picture Files have been moved into Lillian’s office.

You may have noticed that the Assouline Collection wasn’t on this list. The Assouline Collection has been merged into the Reference Collection. Each of the former Assouline collection books has a bookplate in the front and a note in the bibliographic record that reads: “The Assouline Collection: This book was a gift from Prosper & Martine Assouline to the Academy of Art University Library, April 2009.”
If you have any questions, please let me know.
