Ask a Librarian
Do you have questions? Ask a librarian!
The librarians at the Academy of Art University Library are here to help you. Do you have questions about researching a particular artist or art movement? Do you have questions about how to get started on your research paper? Do you have questions about the online resources the library offers? Ask a librarian!
You can contact a librarian in several different ways:
Reference Desk
Stop by the Reference Desk in the library. It is staffed during the Fall and Spring semesters.
If you need help when there isn't a librarian at the Reference Desk, ask at the Circulation Desk to see if a librarian is available to speak with you.
Do you have a reference question, but can't make it to the library to talk to a librarian? Submit your question using the Ask a Librarian form and a librarian will get back to you, usually within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
Do you need help finding specific images in LUNA or on the internet? Submit your question using the Ask a Librarian: Image Questions form and our Visual Resources Librarian will get back to you, usually within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
Research Consultation
If you would like individual research help from a librarian, use the Ask a Librarian form to schedule an appointment with a librarian for a research consultation. You will be able to meet with a librarian in person, online, or on the phone to discuss your specific research needs.Call
