Downloading Images from the Academy of Art University Collection

Download images from the Academy of Art University Collection for educational and research purposes.

Go to the library's Digital Images Webpage

Choose the Academy of Art University Collection or another digital image collection to search by selecting the collection title or by selecting the thumbnail image beside the collection title.

Once you have searched for the image you want to download, double-click on the thumbnail of that image.

Select the resolution size you want to download by selecting the "Maximize" tool from the Image Workspace Toolbar. The "Maximize" tool looks like this:
Hold down the control key on your keyboard and click on the image with your mouse. (If you are using a PC, right click on the image with your mouse).

Select "Save Image As".

Name the image (make sure to save it with the .jpg file extension) and select where you want to save it.

Select "Save".
